How the solver works
Every board is generated from a connected spanning tree and checked to be uniquely solvable, so it has exactly one solution. The solver rotates each tile to that solved orientation, fanning out from the glowing centre until the whole network is connected with no loose ends. Press Step to place one tile at a time, or Auto-solve to watch it finish — you can also just tap tiles and solve it yourself.
How to solve a pipes puzzle by hand
- Start at the edges and corners — those tiles have the fewest possible rotations.
- Lock in any tile that can only point one way, then use it to force its neighbours.
- Work inward until every pipe connects to the centre and nothing points at a wall.
